Conspiracy Theory!

Time to speculate.

I believe in about 18-24 years we (the U.S.) are going to go to war. A real big one.

Why does such a terrible thought cross my mind?

You see, everyone we know who is having or recently had babies are having boys.

Katie and I had two boys. Katie's younger sister Molly who is due in July is having a boy. Steve and Lisa Cronk are having a boy.

Now that's not enough to make me think something is up.

But this is.....

When we were in our birthing class which was exclusively couples having twins, 8 out of 10 couples in the class knew the gender of their twins. The result? 15 of 16 were boys.

Something in the Water Does Not Compute.

Ok. I've ripped off my Mel Gibson face mask and am back.

The boys are at home and doing great. Thomas is up from his birth weight of 4 lb 15 oz to 5 lb 8oz and Joseph is up from 5 lb 13 oz to 5 lb 15 oz. His gain is a little behind because he lost a little weight after birth.

The past two nights the boys have slept for approximately 2.5 hr chunks, which has been great. Each feeding and diaper change is down to about an hour now, so we are getting more sleep, which is much needed.

It's really cute. We put them in bed about 8 inches apart and within an hour, we usually get:

They were head to head in utero and still enjoy each others comfort.

my mom has brought up that theory a couple times before.

but if the republicans get to stay in power, it will hopefully be closer to 12-14 yrs with the relaxing of the rules re: child soldiers.

bart and lisa's military school commencement speaker:
"the wars of the future will not be fought on a battlefield with regular soldiers. they will be fought with tiny robots in space. and your job will be to repair and maintain those tiny robots."

sorry, i've got a very cynical streak in me these days. this is joey joe joe. i'm hopefully going to be making it out to chicago sometime in july, and hopefully out to minnesota during that time period as well. congrats again
